ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF OUTING
GREEKTOWN CASINO-HOTEL HOSTS 6th ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF OUTING TO SUPPORT LOCAL YOUTH
August 21, 2014 (DETROIT) – Greektown Casino-Hotel will host its 6th annual charity golf outing to benefit three local non-profit youth charities on Monday, August 25 at the Detroit Golf Club. This year marks the 6th annual charity golf outing where a total of 166 golfers will participate. Since 2009, Greektown Casino-Hotel’s golf outing has raised more than $550,000 for local youth charities. Proceeds from Monday’s event will be distributed evenly to The Ronald McDonald House of Detroit, Rhonda Walker Foundation and Don Bosco Hall.
“Through this event we hope to make an impact on these organizations that are dedicated to helping young children in our Detroit community,” said Marvin Beatty, Vice President of Communications and Public Relations at Greektown Casino.
The day-long 18 hole event will conclude with a live and silent auction during dinner, featuring a variety of donated items such as Detroit Tiger tickets, flat screen TVs, and a Caribbean vacation for two.
